Access to Experts

A Claude skill for authoring, validating and peer-reviewing Access To Experts (A2X) playbooks: a credentialed expert’s methodology packaged as structured, guided steps that produce real artifacts such as documents, decisions and plans.

What it is

Access To Experts (A2X) turns vetted expertise into structured, interactive workflows. Instead of selling files or templates, it is built around guided outcomes: executable playbooks authored by credentialed experts and delivered through an AI-guided interface.

The repository holds the platform specification, data schemas, engineering scaffolding, compliance framework, partnership playbooks and governance documents. It is in the specification and scaffolding phase; code implementation follows the roadmap.

What the skill does

The skill makes Claude a co-author, reviewer and operator for A2X. It follows the repo’s conventions so playbooks come out consistent with the architecture and tone decisions already made: calm, professional, empathetic and practical, and child-centered and trauma-informed in all family-law, clinical and mediation contexts.

Playbooks are educational guidance, not advice. Every playbook declares its disclosures and jurisdiction, and every input field gets a PII classification.

Key Capabilities

Author Playbooks

Write or edit a playbook for any vertical: clarify scope, draft 3–8 steps with at least one form step and one artifact step, and branch only when it changes the next steps.

Validate

Check a playbook against schemas/playbook.schema.json, which ships with the skill.

Peer Review

Score a playbook on accuracy, scope, safety, clarity, completeness, disclosures, PII discipline and accessibility, then record a decision: approve, approve with changes, request revision, or reject.

Safety Checkpoints

A playbook that touches conflict, harm or vulnerable populations starts with a safety checkpoint. Do not write anything that assumes mediation is appropriate when there is an active safety concern — that is a hard rule.

Design Verticals

Plan a new vertical: anchor candidates, flagship playbooks, a regulatory map, taxonomy extensions, launch criteria and cross-vertical bridges.

Credit Economics & Integration

Model credit pricing for a playbook, stating the cost per credit used, and write API or MCP integration code against the A2X surface.

Install in Claude

Add Access To Experts to Claude at claude.ai in a few clicks. It works on the Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise plans.

Install in Claude

Download, don’t unzip, then Claude → Customize → Skills → + → Upload a skill. How to use skills

  1. Download the install file: access-to-experts.zip (the button above).
  2. Don’t unzip it. Claude needs the .zip file just as it downloaded.
  3. Turn on code execution. Skills need it. On Free, Pro or Max: open Settings > Capabilities and turn on Code execution and file creation. On Team or Enterprise: an organization owner opens Organization settings > Plugins & skills, clicks the Policy tab, and turns on both Code execution and file creation and Skills.
  4. Upload it: open Customize > Skills, click +, then + Create skill, then Upload a skill, and choose access-to-experts.zip.
  5. Turn it on: in Customize > Skills, switch on access-to-experts. Claude will now use it for any request to author, validate or review an A2X playbook.

The skill ships SKILL.md, DISCLAIMER.md, LICENSE and schemas/playbook.schema.json. The full specification, docs and contributing guide are in dougdevitre/access-to-experts on GitHub.
